From day one, we've created swimwear that's beautiful and responsible: preserving natural resources, protecting the people behind each piece, and minimising our ecological footprint at every step.
WHAT WE'RE MADE OF
Materials that give waste a second life
Our swimsuits are made from recycled materials such as discarded fishing nets, plastic bottles, fabric scraps transformed into premium fabric. We work with two key fibres:
ECONYL®
A regenerated nylon made from ocean and landfill waste. It can be recycled infinitely without losing quality, meaning your swimsuit, after years of wear, can become new yarn. A fully circular loop.
REPREVE®
A performance fibre crafted from recycled plastic bottles. Soft, durable, and sparing of the earth's virgin resources.

We work exclusively with small, family-run ateliers in Italy and Turkey, chosen for their shared values, not their price. Their practices are regularly audited to ensure fair, safe, and respectful working conditions for every hand that touches a Kaly Ora piece.

Certified, verified, traceable
To offer full transparency, all our fabrics and yarns are certified: GRS (Global Recycled Standard), Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) for our beachwear.
We're also working on providing third-party audits and certifications validating our sustainable materials and ethical production processes, so you can wear your Kaly Ora swimsuit with complete peace of mind.
